Traditional butterflies, made from relatively soft 925 silver, have a tendency to stretch and gradually open up, thereby often being the reason for losing an earring when taking off jumpers, jackets or shirts.

Our new extra large butterflies encase the silver butterflies in transparent rubber, thereby fixing them in place and preventing them from loosening. Thus we keep our earrings where they should be, in pride of place on our earlobes!
