Gold Hematite, Green Jade and Brass SET

Inspired by Ancient Crete. The original of this stunning necklace, from the Minoan culture of Crete and dated to 1700-1500 BC, is at The British Museum (GR1892.5-20.108). Over 38 centuries ago, this magnificent piece was hand-crafted using ribbed gold beads and acorn-shaped pendants in Green Jasper

In an attempt to re-create the splendours and luxury of Antiquity and bring this piece into the 21st century, we have created a necklace and drop earrings SET of ribbed Gold plated Hematite beads from which are suspended 16 x faceted Green Jade beads, each bead topped by a decorated Brass cap, on a gold plated magnetic ball clasp and gold plated 925 silver hooks

Echoing the riches of the past and to be worn today with pride and joy!
